Entertaining and gripping would be apt words to sum this experience that makes you ask for more. Barring a few hiccups, the plot remains largely unpredictable. The movie marks Priyadarshan’s debut as a director, but he handles the reins like a seasoned director. Shashank Shende and Chinmay Mandlekar have proven yet again that they are consistent performers. The lead pair, Aniket and Prarthana too have left no stone unturned in their efforts to ace their roles. Pranav Raorane’s unforced switch as his character oscillates between specially-abled teenager and a seasoned con artist, is noteworthy. Talking about the performances, brilliant is the only word which does them justice. While this has largely helped increase the movie’s entertainment factor, there are a few places where it seems stretched. Priyadarshan who has proven his mettle as an actor (often in a comedy role), has even added a hint of humor to this movie. But be assured, post interval, as Paritosh (Chinmay Mandlekar) enters the story, your predictions start falling like dominoes. Things take a different turn when Maya falls for her boss Harsh (Aniket Vishwasrao) who is supposed to be the subject of their scams.Īfter the first twist, you start settling with predictable story line. But almost immediately, the director breaks this misconception after he establishes the characters of these three as con artists – Maya (Prarthana Behere), Yadav (Shashank Shende) and Chiku (Pranav Raorane). It makes you wonder if the theme is like the award- winning movie Kaccha Limbu. The movie starts unfolding in a modest house where a couple is trying to nurse a specially-abled child. But we will get to that point a little later in this review. You are already looking forward to the second part of this movie. Review: As you exit the cinema hall, you cannot help but feel amused at how ingeniously the director Priyadarshan Jadhav has fooled you. But when one of them falls in love with him, things take a different spin. Story: Three con artists try duping a businessman running a successful CA firm.
